Great diagram!

I had a hard time finding diagrams in my med books to explain the anatomy between male and female to my son. He is 10 and has asked the infamous questions where do babies come from and how are they made. This is a great simple diagram of many that I used to teach him.

FYI...did you know that we all start our fetal development as female? It's during the second month that the sex organs begin to differentiate due to the presence of Testosterone. Without the presence of testosterone...the fetus continues development as female.

The ovaries become testicles...if you look at the penis...it also contains the corpus cavernosum erectial tissue as the clitoris. The glans clitoris is identical to the glans penis.

Just some food for thought...the glans clitoris contains over 100,000 dendrites...making it very sensitive as does the glans penis.
